  7. concerns from current ideas in science and 
  8. the social sciences, science fiction aims to 
  9. shake up standard perceptions of reality. 
  10. Science fiction works often deal with 
  11. alternative realities, future histories, 
  12. robots, aliens, utopias and dystopias.
